The Ishango Data Science Fellowship is a fully funded, 2 month programme aimed at supporting African graduates to kickstart a career in data science. We take top graduates from across Africa and give them practical skills and real-world project experience in data science, AI, and machine learning. During the residency at one of our locations in Ghana or Rwanda, fellows will develop their skills by working remotely on value-adding projects for global companies.
The goal of the Data Science Mentor in Residence is to ensure fellows are supported as they work on delivering projects for host companies. You will be based in one of our residential locations for 2 months – Ghana (May to July 2022) or Rwanda ( September to November 2022), working alongside our fellows.Read this blog by our 2021 Data Scientist in Residence about his experience
