Dr Neil Dhir

Dr. Neil Dhir is a Principal Investigator at the Alan Turing Institute. He holds a D.Phil. in Engineering Science from the University of Oxford and M.Eng. in aeronautical engineering from Imperial College London. .

James is a research assistant at the Alan Turing Institute – the UK’s national institute for data science and artificial intelligence. He holds a Bsc in Data Science from the University of Warwick.

Chih-Chun is a data scientist and complex systems scientist who has worked in research and commercial contexts, including Microsoft Research, University of Cambridge, CNRS, Yahoo, Deutsche Bank, and Cambridge Spark (which she co-founded)

Phoebe Babrah

Phoebe is a statistical programmer enthusiastic about data science, machine learning, and deep learning. She loves collaborating on projects incorporating machine learning and deep learning skills.

Jan is a data scientist, passionate about finding solutions to challenging problems. He has been a contributor to several scientific publications in top scientific journals including the New Journal of Physics and Nature Communications.

FAQs

Ishango.ai Mentees work on a broad range of data science projects. In previous cohorts our data scientists have worked on projects in the field of financial services, healthcare, agriculture & marketing. They have built recommender systems for online platforms and developed a machine learning model to predict mental health disease.

Our mentors provide help in a variety of ways, it could be on the ground assistance as our data scientist in residence or delivering virtual seminars to the cohort on your area of expertise.

We appreciate our Mentors are busy and value the time they are able to give. There are a number of ways to support our data scientists including leading one-off skills development sessions on a specific topic. Sign up as a mentor and we can discuss an option that fits within your schedule.
