Project: Our project with World Remit focused on processing new features that could serve as valuable signals in a machine-learning model, enabling the identification of potentially fraudulent transactions.

Outcome: We developed an enhanced fraud detection system, providing World Remit with the ability to identify and prevent fraudulent transactions more effectively, safeguarding their operations, and protecting their customers’ financial interests. We trained a suite of binary classifiers to tackle the challenge of imbalanced data, where fraudulent transactions are rare occurrences.

Project: Our core focus with Tails.com was to develop a product recommendation engine for targeted marketing. We  aimed to deliver personalised recommendations that would drive customer engagement and increase sales.

Outcome: We developed a live Python solution utilising collaborative filtering techniques to provide tailored, daily product recommendations for existing Tails.com customers. This led to increased revenue as well as provided Tails.com with key marketing insights, supporting better decision-making on product offerings and promotions.

Project: Our project focused on developing a recommendation engine to support analysts by suggesting highly relevant articles as valuable sources of insights for their clients.

Outcome: We developed an NLP model utilising Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) topic modelling. This model effectively extracted and grouped topics, enabling the recommendation engine to provide analysts with targeted and insightful articles. Our solution empowered analysts to access a curated selection of articles, enhancing their research capabilities to deliver higher value to their clients
