Welcoming back Elder Research as a Data Science Project Partner

At Ishango.ai one of our main goals is to create value for global businesses by giving them access to top data science talent in Africa.

Through our Data Science Fellowship, we have had the pleasure of working with leading companies on data-driven projects that have supported key decisions and delivered real business value to their operations. For our October/November 2022 Fellowship cohort, we are happy to welcome back Elder Research as a returning host company.

Elder Research is a recognized leader in the science, practice, and technology of advanced analytics. They partner with commercial clients and government agencies to develop custom analytical models, powerful text mining tools, and data visualization to provide actionable solutions to real business problems.

After successfully partnering with Elder Research on our first fellowship program back in September 2021, we are happy to work with them once again on another project for the October-November 2022 Data Science Fellowship.

As part of this fellowship, Elder Research is hosting two fellows, Ethel Mensah from Ghana and Bonaventure Fonteh from Cameroon.

For the 8-week duration of the fellowship, Ethel and Fonteh have been assigned the project to mine and analyse sensor data to come up with evidence of the runner crack in vibration data that could lead to an intelligent cracks detection.
